For the price, it really does what it claims to do. It boils water quickly , the water level is easy to see and has the auto-shut off feature.

I have used it reliably to boil water for tea and oatmeal so far. The water is quite hot, so use with caution when pouring it out. There was one time I almost knocked it off from the table while moving some truck rental files away.
